Maibang Degree College has two Units of NSS (National Service Scheme). NSS is another important organization which unfolds opportunities to the students to inculcate the spirit of fellow feeling service to the people for their socio-economic upliftment. The NSS of the college has adopted a village named Longsep (Delenbra). The NSS volunteers go to work in the village on some special camps pertaining to cleanliness, safe drinking water, sanitation, awareness on education & environment etc.
Interested students may contact the Professors – in- Charge of NSS (Programme Officer) for details. The college is having a separate office for NSS. Shri Brojen Borah and Mrs Junu Devi are the NSS programme officers of the college.
